- On January 25, at 11:07 a.m., Engine 2 responded to the intersection of Campbell and DeWitt Avenue's for a car leaking gasoline. Firefighters stopped the leak and applied absorbent to clean up the spilled flammable liquids.
- On January 25, at 6:12 p.m., Truck 1 was dispatched to a residence on Beverly Court for a furnace condition. The resident arrived home and found no heat and a foul odor of fuel and smoke in the basement. Firefighters shut down the heating unit and called the Welfare Director to arrange temporary shelter. Township Social Services relocated the person for the night, until repairs could be made.
- On January 27, at 1:31 a.m., Engine 2 and EMS 1 were dispatched to a residence on Beech Street for a reported stabbing/fight. Firefighters found several persons injured and two victims suffering from severe stab wounds. EMS 1 transported one patient, while firefighters stabilized the second patient until a mutual aid ambulance could arrive. That patient was also transported to University Hospital Trauma Center in Newark for treatment.
- On January 27, at 9:26 a.m., a call was received for a structure fire at Mill & Main Streets. Engine 2 was out on a medical emergency with EMS 2 on Ralph Street, and had to break away with only a firefighter and Lieutenant on-board. EMS 1 became available, and with Truck 1, arrived on scene moments later to assist with a large outside fire in a pallet yard. The property was over the city line into Newark, and firefighters began extinguishment operations until Newark Fire Department arrived and took control. Engine 3 was not committed to the fire and relocated to Headquarters until units returned.
- On January 28, at 4:12 a.m., all units responded to the rear of 729 Washington Avenue for a reported fire. Engine 2 arrived and found a dumpster fully involved near a building, and handled the fire. Firefighters used handlines to extinguish the fire and cool down the surroundings. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
